  1. All dancers should have a card registered with the business.

  2. If tuition is received after the 5th of the month, there will be a 10% late fee.

  3. If tuition is not received by the 10th of the month, then the dancer cannot participate in classes.

  4. Tuition is based on four classes per month. Months with five classes are used to offset holidays and studio closures.

  5. Mirror Image Dance Company will accept all cards. *please note: we do not take cash or check.

  6. Families must give a 30-day notice by filling out the MIDC Class Drop Form if they choose to take a break from MIDC. *Mini Classes can be dropped at the end of the session only (not per month).

  7. Mini & Tiny Tot’s will be automatically enrolled in the next session unless we receive the withdrawal form 30 days before the start of the new session.

  8. There will be no refunds for missed classes. Students may make-up missed classes within one month of absence. Please check in with the front desk before attending a make-up class.

  9. Mini & Tiny Tot’s are billed monthly but are enrolled in the full session (ie: Fall, Winter, Spring).

Change/Cancel Monthly Tuition: Families must give a 30-day notice by filling out the MIDC Class Drop Form if they choose to take a break from MIDC. This will not reflect until 30 days from the day the form is submitted. *Mini Classes can be dropped at the end of the session only (not per month).

PRIVATE CLASSES – CANCELLATION POLICY: Lessons must be canceled within 24 hours. If prior notification is given, rescheduling the appointment is possible. No-shows are not eligible for make-up sessions.

CLASS WITHDRAWAL NOTICE INFORMATION: As stated in our Studio Policies & General Information, a written notice is required in order to withdraw from a class.  In order to stop further tuition obligations for the season (beginning with the month after this notice is received), the Class Withdrawal Form must be completed and turned in to Mirror Image Dance Company by e-mail, mail, or in person 30 DAYS BEFORE the month you want to withdraw.  For example, if you want to withdraw January 1st, you must pay tuition for December and turn in the withdrawal letter by December 1st.
The account holder is responsible for tuition payments, account charges, and late fees incurred through the last day of the month a dancer is registered in a class regardless of attendance.
Class Withdrawal Form can be picked up at the studio.

ATTENDANCE, OBSERVATION, DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP POLICY

MIDC operates on a drop-off and pick-up policy for all classes except Tiny Tots and Pure Joy Programs. If you are late to pick up your child, we will wait until your arrival. However, after 30 minutes you will be charged $25 fee.

MIDC assumes no responsibility for children on the premises before, after, or between their specified class times. Parents and guardians are responsible for arranging proper supervision of their children if it is necessary for them to stay in the building for periods of time before, after, or in between classes. Parents may want to consider making arrangements with older students or babysitters to ensure supervision of younger students.

Check-In at the Lobby: All dancers will check in at the front desk. If your registration in Studio Pro isn’t complete yet, no worries — we’ll guide you through it right there.

Drop-Off Timing - To help everything run smoothly and safely:

The studio will open 15 minutes before the first scheduled class of the day. Minis and Petites may be dropped off up to 15 minutes before their class begins. Our staff will be in the Dancer Den to welcome the dancers and stay with them until class starts!

*Please note: you may see instructors or staff inside earlier for private lessons, projects, or prep. However, the studio is not considered open until 15 minutes before the first class. We appreciate your help in keeping arrivals within this window so every dancer is properly supervised.

Dancer-Only Spaces:

After check-in, dancers and staff will go back to the Dancer Den and studios. For safety, these areas are reserved for dancers and staff only. Parents and visitors can remain in the lobby or viewing rooms (parents are not required to stay on the premises during their dancers’ class). This ensures every child is safe, allows teachers to focus on the dancers, and prevents overcrowding.

*Restrooms are available through Studio C for parent use.

Parent Viewing:

You’re welcome to observe from the Parent Viewing Rooms or relax in the lobby. We just ask that conversations stay quiet so dancers can remain engaged in class.

During Class:

Our instructors and helpers are available to assist with bathroom breaks, shoes, or quick needs. If you need to get a message to your child, simply check in at the front desk and we’ll help right away.

Studio Doors:

The new doors between the viewing areas and studios will stay unlocked, but they are for EMERGENCY EXIT ONLY. All regular entry and exit will continue through the lobby and the designated viewing entrance. Please refrain from entering the studio space via the parent viewing area. Kids are not allowed to use these doors. It will make it easier for us to reinforce this rule if nobody is using these doors. Thank you for helping us set a great example — it makes it so much easier for the dancers to follow along!

Parking: There is plenty of parking available in our parking lot.
